I know I need to stay positive for myself and those around me, but for some reason I’m having a very difficult time faced with the realization that this cancer truly may be something I have to deal with for the rest of my life. That’s where people like Dr. Deming come in.
This is one of the most beautiful poems I’ve ever read. When I actually slow down to read it carefully, it puts my mind at ease.
“What the hell you so nervous about? They already told you that you have brain cancer.”
-Wisdom from my Dad
“Because in the end, you won’t remember the time you spent working in the office or mowing your lawn. Climb that goddamn mountain.”
