Alicia here – I have kidnapped Justin’s blog to keep all those who followed him updated on how we will forever keep his memory alive. Let’s face it, he’d want nothing less! If you want to continue on this cancer journey, post world without Justin, please do. If not, this is your warning to unsubscribe (knowing Justin is likely looking down on you, judging you for your decision).
We will do the first annual “Take a Hike Bike Justin” on Saturday, August 27th starting mid-morning, with all proceeds going towards sponsoring a Cancer Survivor’s trip with Above + Beyond Cancer.
We will bike around Clear Lake, Iowa, making a few stops, before finally ending mid-afternoon. We are planning a meeting spot after everyone finishes up for some food, drinks, and endless stories about Justin (as I’m sure we all have more than a few to share!)
We are currently working on getting t-shirts and tank tops designed for the event. This will be a great way to raise funds for Above + Beyond, so please be on the look-out if you are interested in ordering one.
If you are unable to make it to the event, but would still like to donate to Above + Beyond, we will post options on that as well.
